The Big Fat Greek Buffet

We absolutely loved it! It was great food and service. We showed up with a party of 6 of which one was in a wheelchair. They had originally placed us in a dropped floor area. As soon as they saw the wheelchair, Maria, the co-owner immediately accommodated our party. Server was very prompt with clearing the table on a continuous basis. I am a vegetarian but not the rest of the group. I was truly happy to see that they had so many vegetarian dishes and it was great that they had vegetarian alternatives to the same meat dishes (stuffed peppers that were meat and the same ones in vegetarian). Except Saganaki, everything that is typical of a Greek menu, they had it and then some! Calamari was so crisp and fresh. Amazing dessert menu. In fact the various homemade cookies were a little big so eating all the varieties was quite filling. They should make the same cookies but smaller. Missed the fact that they did not have Greek coffee on the menu. Nice ambience with the furniture and pictures. I will and so will the others in my group return to this place. My family went on Father's Day and it was just OK. However, considering we were there for the start of the dinner, there were many dishes either half empty or empty which makes me think they were left over from lunch! Also, found a hair in the mixed vegetables (broccoli/carrots) at the salad section. No paper towel in the washroom.
More meat dishes such as roast beef/lamb or maybe even some fish would be nice.

I'm a fan of this place. It has an excellent authentic Greek cuisine, Greek desserts and modern European desserts such as freshly made baklava, honey walnut cake or cookies, almond shotbread cookies with rosewater, yiaourtopita(lemon almond yogurt cake), halva, pastafrolla, zuchinni cake(olive oil cake), orange almond cake(olive oil cake), apple cake, plum lemon almond cake, banana honey walnut cake, pine nut tart, pomegranite juice and mavrodaphne or rose wine jello, fresh strawberries and juice jello, fresh oranges and juice jello, vanilla cinnamon rice pudding, chocolate ouzo rice pudding or orange strawberry rice pudding, strawberry yogurt cake, strawberry yogurt mouse, french baklava(chocolate honey walnut danishes), milfie, diples. They keep introducing or bring in new desserts and I look forward to the same and new items. I feel their excitment and enjoy their food. You can tell these are fresh. They are not store bought or ready made products. You really will enjoy this place.

This place is amazing! I consider this palce as the best buffet in the city as I've been coming here many times with my family. Only here can we find Greek cuisine to satisfy our hunger that is excellent in quality, fast in access to food, unlimited without worrying it being added to our bill and at a very reasonable price. We also enjoy many traditional Greek desserts and modern European desserts such as strawberry mouse yogurt cake. It's definitley worth the drive to Mississauga.

I love eating Greek food here. The food does reflect the name, correctly spelled as The Big Fat Greek Buffet. It's worth going to TBFGB because you get many of the SAME Greek foods as found in other Greek restaurants but here you get MORE variety, excellent quality, fruit bar, salad bar, dessert bar, and it's all you can eat!!! So you do the math, hmmmmm should I spend $15 and go somewhere else for a few items or come here and have better and alot!

The Name says Big fat greet Buffet, but not in reality. Its the same stuff everytime. I would say no value for the money.

I believe this is the BEST buffet I have ever had. I loved it so much that I will be having my mother's 82nd birthday there on April 25th. I am so looking forward to the food. It really is a great place to eat Greek Food.

Nice place, excellent fresh food, good price

My friend and I visited this restaurant last week. The service was excellent. The food was great. The price was reasonable. The personnel were very pleasant. We hope they continue to meet with success. We will definitely be bringing family and friends next time. Great place. Good location. Mary

This restaurant is for greek food lovers. It offes authentic greek selection which has a homemade taste. Everything tasted fresh and enjoyable. When I left the restaurant, I was full not grossed out like the feeling you get from other buffets b/c of low quality deep fried foods. I would like to see ppl try this restaurant and give it a chance b/c the restaurant appears to be a family business and the food is very good. I feel with sucess of this restaurant, only good things can happen with it. They did appear to be short staffed however, i never had to wait for refills or a ridiculous amount of time to have the plates cleared. The whole experience was enjoyable and I would definately go again.

Very impressed for an AYCE buffet-for the selection I must say its worth the feast. Very good quality and the dessert is delicious. I recommend you try their baklava. It would be nice to see lamb and I would definetly go back and pay more if they serve more expensive stuff. I am not going to get greedy and ask for more for what I pay. I think already I am paying too little. Currently I'm happy the way things are and I can do without lamb. Everything is fresh including the dessert. It's like going to a Greek home for dinner and being served with many Greek dishes. This place indeed will rock and I am so happy that Toronto has a Greek buffet for everyone to enjoy.

disappointing - slow service - selection extremely poor - prices do not reflect the value - where is the lamb, where is the gyros, where is the feta cheese, where is the greek olives,...

I particularly enjoyed the family style environment and the decorum. The service was impeccable, but more importantly, out of many restaurant establishments in the area I found the food fresh and tasty, this led me to believe that the ingredients were mainly natural and fresh. I was particularly concerned about some of the selection but when asked, the owner was friendly and he assured me that it would improve, overall, it was a very good dining experience, kudos to the freshness of the food. And at 19.00, the value for what me and my family ate was totally worthwhile.

Way overpriced - selection is poor - if you are going to try it out go now because this place will not be around by summer

The food quality is excellent. Not enough of a selection of dishes. The dessert buffet is VERY small for a buffet.

The food and service is GREAT.THIS place will rock.
