Momiji Japanese Restaurant

July 2011 SO YUMMY! A little pricier than most other AYCE's I know, but definitely worth it. Went on a Thursday night so not busy, only like 3 other tables. We were served SO fast!! Really delicious and just overall awesome. The little curtained booths are cute, too!

I used to love this restaurant as they have excellent food. However, their service is horrible. Last time we were there, we waited for 30 mins. The waitress came in an asked us if we were ready to order desert, we told her we would want our dinner first. She then found out our order was lost. This was their fault that they should make up for it, but what did they do, they put our order in the queue without giving us the priority. 15 mins later (45 mins now), I had to tell the waitress if I don't see food on the table in the next min, we'll leave. They gave us miso soup within the next minute, then some tempura and a hand-roll. We waited another 25 mins, still not sushi nor sashimi (what we went there for). Asked the waitress where our sushi were, she said they're really busy. The restaurant was half full! We waited another 5 mins, we left the restaurant without paying because we didn't have what we went there for. Will miss their food, but can't go back to that restaurant again.

I went in Feb 2010 and it was excellent, and great value (14.95 for weekend lunch buffet)

this place offers All You Can Eat for the going average price. their food is really good and service is decent.

This used to be a good Japanese buffet place before but not anymore. Now, the sashimi has no taste at all and that caused by low quality of fish. Hot food was even worst, dishes came out like a pile of dog food, they really spent no time in presentation. It's a shame to Japanese cuisine. Beef bulgogi was tasteless and pieces were crumbled together like a log.

Will never go back again.

First time there and was very impressed with the selection, and quality of the food. Would not hesitate to go again or recommend to other.

Terrible experience. The food did not taste fresh.When I requested a smaller serving, as I read the penalty disclaimer, they would not ablige. At the end of my meal I could not finish all of the food, they wanted to charge me $0.79 each piece that was left! This is rediculous. They told me it was a penalty. I will never go to this restaurant again, and I will tell everyone I know, not to go! I should not feel stressed about having a dinner, and worry about being

Good Price, Good Environment, Good Varieties, Good Service, Good quality. Have been going there for 3 years everytime when I have sushi cravings or gathering with visiting friends. And all my friends loved it and always want to go there for future gathering. I'm a VERY SATISFIED with everything, and is value for money.

I fully agree with previous reviews. This is the best all you can eat sushi restaurant I have been to. I never hesitate to recommend this establishment to my friends and family. The tempuras and handrolls are great. They have a decent selection of non-sushi dishes as well.

Great Foods!!!! yesterday was the first time there. Very impressed!!!!

My family goes to Momiji at least once a week. My family love it. They have a good selection of sushi, but sashimi are limited. Got to try the Kalbi, it is wonderful. The quality of the food is exceptional. Overall it is a nice restaurant that catered to all ages.

Momiji has quickly become one of my favourite lunch places. The quality of the sushi itself is best described as very good (not excellent), the pricing is quite reasonable, and the atmosphere is similar to other Japanese/Korean local establishments.

When choosing the all-you-can-eat option, the first round of orders come quickly. Additional orders are also quick IF you can catch the attention of the staff. Some of the Korean style dishes are a nice alternative for those of my friends who ordinarily would opt out from a sushi restaurant.

The fish cuts are reasonable in size, not what I would describe as thick, but not paper thin either. Everything is fresh and well prepared. They do tend to use a lot of rice, but given the pricing model you can hardly blame them.

All things considered, Momiji is an excellent value, and a venue I never hesitate to recommend to my friends. I hope they stay in business for a long time to come!

IM THERE ALMOST EVERY 3 DAYS!! I LOVE THIS PLACE AND I AM SUPER OBSESSED WITH IT!!! GREAT TEMPURAS, GREAT HANDROLLS!! AMAZING KALBI TOO!! WAITERS ARE VERY NICE AND POLITE AND SO IS THE OWNER!!!

The atmosphere here is truly Japanese. The service is good and respectful. The food is amazing too!
