Leela's Roti and Doubles

She was probably in a bad mood.
Something or someone must have set her off. It is a family ownes restaurant. And I have noticed with the employees that they aren't always nice. But the food is freakin great!!

I kept calling the restaurant on January 7th, 2012 and got no answer. So, thinking they were busy, I decided to visit the place only to find a sign on the door saying they are closed and will be opening January 9th.

Now tell me, in this day and age, an establishment such as this find it so difficult and/or costly to put in an answering machine...

It blows my mind...

Only heard great things about this place, had a friend bring over a roti once on the Trini Tuesday, it was delicious!

Had a couple of doubles and a Goat roti last week, this is the best Goat roti I have eaten in the last 15 years and I eat a lot of roti's!!!
If you are looking for good Trini food that is not expensive, go on Tuesday's they have $3 roti's (I like to call it Trini Tuesday).

Goes at lunch time with others from the office, Service is very, very poor, Leela is a very rude, unpleasant person, speak very rudely to customers, she not just rude to the customers, also rude to the cashier. We will not be going back to that restaurant. There is other Roti shop which is even better than Leela.

The food is good, but the doubles are not always the same in size. Be careful when you get take out, as they mess your order. They always miss an item or two. The roti and curry dishes are very good. Should improve in their customer service.

The food is excellent but the service I find rather poor from the gentleman who you deal with at the front. I see him speaking with other customers better than myself. Please stop carrying about your show off Trini ways and treat all your customers the same!

Yummy to my tummy

The foods is amazing. The roti's are made hot and fresh. I can't believe the cleanliness of the resaturant just outstanding. After my first impression of the restaurant i will definetly be a repeat customer. In the era of frozen foods, this restaurant gives you every reason to visit and actually get a taste of freshly cooked food.

On a scale of 1 to 10 and being a visitor from Trinidad, I would rate the food a 7.5 and the service a solid 8.5. Keep up the good work and service. Remember Consistency with taste through the upkeep of quality at an affordable price spells success

GREAT FOOD...AUTHENTIC TASTE!! Liked the bone goat with rice. Althouh the wait can be long at times but its worth the wait. Will re-visit for sure.

I found the food to be great but the owners are too cheap. If you have 2c for him he wants it and he does not like to use debit cards and charges for it...even for a bag when you are buying alot of stuff...shame on you fello trini.

Leela's menu has something for everyone. I absolutely love there roti's. When I go for Roti i have a long list because everyone from work wants one. The restaurant is also kept very clean. So, you know the kitchen is the same way.

Well fuh Canada de food decent. Like they say, local Trini food is still de best. Ah try dey doubles...it ok....even when ah tell dem put plenty pepper it still wasn't as hot. De roti decent...but they could improve on de aloopies. Best aloopies ah ever taste in mih life is from Sobo, La Brea. Leela's food good, not de greatest, but de best in Sauga if yuh up in dis area!

Nice authentic Trini food. The curry duck was good, but they could have put a little more meat than bones so that i could get the real taste...the Roti is Awesome ! If you want to go on a Friday/Saturday night call ahead ! It's really busy because west indians don't like to cook on these days !)

Finally a West Indian restaurant with GREAT FOOD and Most of all GREAT ATTITUDE. The customer service is the best I ever had at a West Indian restaurant. The food will make you a regular at this place. I like the Goat curry. Owner!! keep up the good work.

Found a new roti shop in Mississauga, try it out! This one is good for West Indian local dishes. Customer service was number 1.

Went to this place hearing from a close friend. It turned out to be GREAT. The food was cheap and delicious. The wait was a bit long as there were tons of customers, but it was worthed. As the food came out fresh and hot.

Good food cheap price. I loved the ALOOPIE with chicken.
