Gurulukshmi

We were there yesterday with some of my co-workers about 8 of us including Chinese, White, African Americans and Indians who all loved the food. There was something for all of us and we all loved everything about the place. My friend told us that the owners themselves cook and have maintained their quality for years. I met with the owner and he explained to us how much work they have put in to keep the quality the same. He also let us know that they are planning on expanding soon. We will forever be their faithful customers. Family business like these need to supported, they are the real deal.

honestly if you want to taste original dosa s and sambar you have to atleast once visit gurulukshmi...
my friends were right they are authentic..

we have visited many s.indian restaurants non matched Gurulukshmi..why they i hear do the cooking themselves rather leaving it to the cooks..only draw back is the size..and the crowd but soon they said they are trying to make the place bigger..
and adviced us to come before 7.30

Best dosa in GTA!

guys..go once and check this place.true taste of home made dosas.many varities..but try and go on weekdays as weekend evenings can be crowded.

after many years in canada we had finally the real South Indian food.Many in canaad mostly Sri Lankans portray as if they are from India and cheat customers like us..Gurulukshmi is a real south indian people who I believe do not use commercial cooks but they cook themself..which makes the dosas more tasty..
we recommmend everyone to try it once and be the best judge...

Mw and my friends went to this resturant in mississauga after seeing a review in the star.We were glad as we founf the best Dosa Spot in town.Their fodd was so good and we were happy to note the food was cooked by the owners themselfs and not the commercial cooks we were told.So many variety of home made dosas and their sambar was excellent.
Only draw back is weekends eveningare packed,we wouil recommend to visit on weekdays or morings on week ends,. If you are prepared like we did to wait you are in for w treat

We found this retaurant through a friend of us..One word truely authentic south indian home made food..they were the same people under the name dosa corner..dosa and sambar yummy..
soon they are going to expand to cater the croed..weekend eveningsare busy so good idea to go on a weekday to enjoy the food and the decor.
